This year, we had our Thanksgiving early with the Maughans, because we went to Cancun over the real Thanksgiving day. (Pictures are soon to come!) We were so sad to miss Thanksgiving with my side of the family- it's something we look forward to every year. Those Egan parties get pretty wild! I love love love Thanksgiving. Besides the amazing food, it's always good to reflect and count our many blessings. I'm grateful for so many things in my life that I could NEVER name everything. But just to name a few....
~I'm so grateful for Brandon. I love my husband! I couldn't have asked for a more supportive, understanding, and funny person to spend forever with. ~
~I'm so grateful for family. On both sides of our families, some hard things are going on. It's made me realize how important family really is. When times are rough, it's family that's ALWAYS there. I'm so thankful to know that. I love my family. (both sides!) ~
~I'm grateful for the gospel~
~I'm grateful for good friends. Everyone needs good friends, and I have to say that we have GREAT friends!~
~I'm grateful Brandon and I can both get our education.~
~I'm grateful for this country that we live in.~
There's SO many more things, but I'll stop there =)

the old news and the new
Alright so I have two things to post about: Gracie's birthday on October 30 (little late), and my Aunt Karol's baby shower. Let's start with Gracie's party. Chel threw the cutest Halloween birthday party. We carved pumpkins, played games, and ate Chel's homemade chicken noodle soup and fresh french bread....yuuum. Gracie and all of her cute presents-- besides those little blue rain boots. I don't really like them that much. ha ha j/k all the way Ange

The Turpin Family
Gracie with her fruit punch mastache and disco Er
Chel and Gracie opening presents
The poor ghost cake was accidentally dropped...it was ok though. Gracie didn't care one bit!
Ashley and her "best friend" Cambree
Here's Nicole, Ashlyn and Aften carving their pumpkins
me and Ash carving, and Er and Cambree carving

Cher and Lucy (I don't know why this keeps coming up so small)
and here's Caitlin and Karol- Caitlin made this blanket for Karol. It's so cute. I was like, "Caitlin, I need you to teach me how to sew!" The whole party was like, "That's not even sewing...she crocheted it!" Yeah yeah yeah... technicalitiy! And to end it off... Ashley's "funny face"

played the dating game
had a costume contest
hit an awesome dinosaur pinata
played the classic "cup game"
did the limbo
played mafia
ate lots!!
Bran and I decided to be Frosty. We stayed in these costumes about 5 minutes before we were both overheated and out of breath.
